Hey there, working my 1st night, thankfully the weather's settled although it's supposed to start snowing thruout the night, nothing to be done about the weather but tis a little tiresome now. The roads were in some state after the storm, looks terrible to see snow plowed up in the sides of the roads, we need some warm days to get rid of the dirt. Hope you had a nice time at the wedding, I love them, :). Anyhow I must wile away the time til Coronation Street comes on. TTYL.

I hear ya about the weather. We're into the rainy season & it kind of gets tiresome too but I won't complain too much. :) We had a grand time at the wedding but didn't stay too late. I love weddings too.....I wonder who's next. lol! Well, my tummy is not feeling all that good this morning so I think I'll go & rest for a bit. I'm sure I'll be just fine by afternoon. :) Have a good day.

Hey there, went to Goose Friday and back last evening, twas a whirlwind kinda trip but nice nonetheless, spent time at the hospital and home, so many sick people, terrible for some. Ron celebrated his 55th bday Saturday, his sister cooked turkey and all the trimmings and he ended up with 2 cakes, worked for me, lol. I'm back to work today and tis beautiful here, a pleasant change I tell ya. I ran in to Donna at the benefit, and saw Ruby at Reitmans, so good to see them both. Glad you enjoyed the wedding, nice to get out once in a while eh. Anyhow I must have a nose on fb, have a great day. TTYL.

Happy belated Birthday to Ron. It was my brother in laws birthday on Saturday too. Sounds like Ron had some good grub on his special day. :) Glad you had a good trip to the Goose despite seeing all the poor sick people. Makes me so sad, I wish we could all just close our eyes & go to sleep. :) Wish in one hand....eh. The weather is always the same over here except for a bit of rain every now & then. :) We're heading off to Roatan again this weekend for another little taste of the salt air. I think I'm addicted. lol! In the meantime, have a great week.

Hello, I agree regarding the poor sick people, tis hellish. We have a lovely morning here, big blue sky and no rdf, thankfully, gets tiresome after a while. The poor crab fishers can't get out to set their gear as the ice is still in, hard on them and the plant workers, soon hopefully. Hope you have a great day. TTYL.

Hi. Geez, hopefully, the ice moves off for the fisherman. We have a mix of sun & cloud every day & usually a rain shower or two. It is the rainy season so to be expected, I guess. lol! We don't complain about the rain since it's badly needed here. Hope you guys have a nice dry weekend.

Hello, God I'm sick of our weather, grey for days on end and cold, tis 3 degrees for Gawd's sake, like really tis the middle of June. I desperately need to see the sun, as I'm sure most here do, lol. Ron got back yesterday, he has to go to St John's this turnaround for his appointment with the specialist, but tis close to the end of his turnaround so that's pretty good. Anyhow I must go and get to the tasks at hand, have a good day. TTYL.

Hope the weather has finally warmed up a bit for you, Sharon. Still rains most days here but it's warm so that's a good thing. I've been working at the Embassy a lot lately so I'm keeping myself busy. :) Off to do a little bit of grocery shopping today I think but nothing more strenuous than that. Have a great weekend & good luck to Ron with his Doc appointment.

Good morning. Another dull morning with bits of fog hanging around the hills. Got nothing much on the agenda today, just a little puttering around. :) I could have gone into work this morning but didn't really feel like it, so here I am. :) Hope you have a grand day.

Happy weekend. Lovely & warm here but still getting rain showers most days. Ah well, we need rain here for sure. Went for a great meal with our Honduran friends last night but taking it easy today. May run out to the hardware store later if I get energetic. :)

Hey, well after days on end of dreary wet and foggy weather it's a lovely morning here, and it's 12 degrees, that's a heatwave for us, lol. Ron and I went to Goose Thursday morning and back the same day, talk about tiring, but I had a req for an x ray and wanted to get that outta the way so off we went. Lotsa wildlife once we hit the junction, 1 bear, 3 caribou and 4 damn moose, thankfully we escaped hitting any of them, twas duckish too which is worst, wasn't sorry to pull in the driveway about 10:30. Sounds like all is well in your corner of the world, glad to hear/see. You musty be looking forward to coming home, time is flying eh and before you know it you'll be winging your way. Anyhow I must mosey on along for now, have a great day. TTYL.

That was a whirlwind trip. lol! We don't like driving in the dark anymore & it's even worse when it's "duckish". :) Our old eyes are not much good for night driving. Sigh. We are really looking forward to our monster trip in Aug./Sept. Toronto first then on to Ottawa for a few days, Goose Bay for a week, Germany for a couple of weeks (Doctors appointments & family visits), overnight in Amsterdam on the way back, overnight in Panama City & on to Tegucigalpa. I'm tired just thinking about it but looking forward to the week in Labrador. Would love to spend more time there but the kids only get a week off. :P Well, it's time to get on with the day. Have a good one!

Hello, I'm back to the grind this morning. Was off for Canada Day and it was awesome, it was a bright sunny day and the temps were great, I even got a bit of a tan, lol. The organizers did a fabulous job putting the events together, everyone enjoyed it to the fullest. Tis a dull chilly morning here, had a bit of rain and the birds are singing a way so probably will get more. Wow, you're gonna be flat out on your trip, I'm sure you'll make the most of it. Must go and have a nose on fb now, have a great day. TTYL.

Sounds like a grand Canada Day indeed. Same old, same old here but we are invited for a celebration of Canada's birthday tomorrow night. A little late but "what the heck". We'll take what we can get. :) We've got a bit of sun this morning but I'm sure that will turn into rain at some point. The rainy season has been giving us a bit of a beating this past week with high winds & lot's of rain showers. Nothing we can't handle though. I'm off to clean up my untidy shack. Have a great day.
