Hello, guess where I'm to? Yep it's work, lol. Lovely day here now albeit a chilly -16, gonna be a rough night and day tomorrow tho and I have to work again in the morning, high winds and 30 cms of snow, I may sleep at my Cousin's as he's nowhere from here. Ron and his buddy are at the cabin in Flatwaters, heading back later today. Mick is doing ok, or seems too, but we'd never know anyway as he's so private. Re Deb, I tell ya the life is gone outta their house, it's depressing to say the least, such is life tho and gotta keep on keeping on eh. Anyhow I must get outta here again, have a great day. TTYL.

Good morning, Sharon. I sure hope the weather is not as nasty as predicted. It's another gorgeous sunny day here but we really could use a little rain. Unfortunately the rains won't start until around May in these parts. Oh well, take what we get, I guess. Poor Mick, I think about him an awful lot but you're right, he was always very private & we wouldn't know what his thoughts are. I'm sure he's coping as well as can be expected. Well, only 3 more sleeps before I head to Canada & I guess I'll clean the house one last time for the next 3 weeks. lol! Have a good day at work.

Hello, tis a snowy day here once again, forecast's not great but nothing like last week when we had that raging blizzard, please God it won't be as I work in the morning. I ended up staying at Darren's last week, Ron was home but no need of him getting up and escorting me to work when I can get there easily on my own from across the road. Some poor people aren't dug out from this last storm yet, same as the plow operator, he's still trying to clean up the town, poor man. If it stays warm it won't be as bad, and the forecasted winds are nothing like last week, fingers crossed. Ron went back to work yesterday after 3 weeks off, he enjoyed his turnaround. I'm sure you're enjoying your trip. Anyhow I must get to preparing my dinner, have a great day. TTYL.

Hi there. I finally made it back on Wednesday to wonderful sunny, warm weather. We had a bit of everything in Ottawa.......snow, bitter cold & even +temperatures. I was not impressed & I think that I'll only be going back in the summer- lol! Glad to hear that it's warmed up in Cartwright & I hope there are no more storms in the forecast this spring. :) I had a good time in Ottawa & spent a boat load of money but that's okay, I don't spend much the rest of the year. Off out for dinner now. Enjoy the weekend.

Hello, back to work and tis a chilly -18, good for keeping the conditions suitable for those avid Winter folks. Ron and I had a couple of nights in Goose, good to see my peeps, and I spent too much money too, lol. I tell myself every time I go that it's gonna be different this time, epic fail most times, oh well. Anyhow I'll mosey outta here now. Have a great day. TTYL.

TGIF! Glad you were able to get to Goose for a few days, Sharon, it's always good to check on the peeps. :) It's been wickedly hot here the past few days & I'm still battling the cold that I brought back from Canada but I'm sure I'll survive. Detlef & I are heading out for a spa weekend at the Marriott this afternoon & I'm really looking forward to that. Hope you have a great weekend.

A good Monday morning to all. Had a wonderful weekend at the Marriott but now it's back to the grind. :( Another hot day here at about 34° so I think I'll get my housework done early & relax for the rest of the afternoon. Have a good one.

Hello, tis a chilly morning here, only -9 but the damn wind has picked up the last hour or so. I'm working my 2nd day, back on nights Thursday, and Ron goes back to work tomorrow. He's been very busy on this turnaround, 2 trips to Flatwaters, Goose Bay, North River a couple of times and this morning he's going across the bay with Lee. Have a great day. TTYL.

Sounds like Ron had a wonderful turnaround. Geez, I sure hope it warms up for you real soon. Only supposed to go to 32° here today. lol! We could sure use a little rain in these parts but it doesn't look like that's happening today either. Oh well, hopefully it will come soon. Have a grand day at work.

Hello Monday. Still no rain in these parts so I suppose I'll have to make do with sunshine yet again. :) The rainy season is supposed to start in May so I guess we'll have to wait a little longer. Have a grand day.

Hello, back to work this morning and tis raining, at this point I'd rather that then snow, and temp's above 0, long way to go to get your kinda temps tho, lol. Yeah, Ron had great 2 weeks, won't be getting around on ski doo much by the time he gets back on the 19th, snow is going quickly, I have no issue with that, :). Have a great day. TTYL.

Well, here it is, Good Friday & still no rain to speak of. :) We did have a little bit on Wednesday night but not enough to make a difference. Oh well, we'll probably get lot's come May. It's pretty quiet here today except for some churchgoers singing on the megaphone......if only they could sing. ;) Anyway, have a good day & I'll see ya later.

Hello again, our schedule at work changed as there's only 3 of us now and the 2 boys were working Phoebe's shifts since Oct and they are tired, so we're all working the same now. I will have the same days off as before every couple of strings of shifts, tis all 3 now, 3 days and 3 nights. The next pay period I will have 120 hours along with Good Friday holiday, works for me. It rotates so that will make it easier. Hope you guys have a Happy Easter. TTYL.
